Community Native Tree planting projects

Ireland has strong historical connection with trees, through Ancient Celtic Ogham Tree Alphabet and Brehon law, and was once covered by ancient forests. It is therefore unfortunate that Ireland has one of the lowest forest coverage out of EU states of which only 1-2% are native forests.

In 2021 we have decided to start planting Native trees, to date we have planted over 5900 native trees and shrubs in communities. This number not include trees planted for our private customers. We work with Tidy towns, nature reserves and council to find suitable planting locations and tree selection. We are regularly posting planting updates on our blog

How you can help? You can gift a tree, order any of our products, share or recommend our business or volunteer for tree planting.

We can make Ireland green and biodiversity rich again 1 tree at a time.
